She might not have terrorists chasing her like they were in the previous books, but there’s still some major conflict going on, and I think we can all agree that as long as the Circle exists and Cammie is her father’s daughter and a kickass spy, she’ll be needed.
And don’t worry about what’s going to happen in GG6, just trust the fact that because Ally wrote it, it will be ah-mazing!
So. GG6 is coming out in September. And normally, this would make me excited beyond comprehension. Like, I’d be so insanely excited, it would be… insane.
BUT I’m not (I mean, I am a little bit, because hello? It’s another Ally Carter book!) and here’s why: It’s the last ever GG book. Once I read this, there will be no waiting for another book, and the books have been with me for suuuch a long time, I’m not exactly looking forward to having them end, ya know?
It’s time for Cammie’s journey to be over, but, and I know this is slightly selfish of me, I don’t want it to be, because I like it sooooooo much. And, I don’t know, I guess really what it comes down to is, I love these books a lot, that I don’t like the fact that after September __, the story that I’ve fallen in love with will come to an end. And while, I’m certain to reread all the books cover to cover to cover to cover, it’s a bittersweet feeling to know that the series will be over. Of course, fangirling will continue like there’s no tomorrow, but there’ll be no new Zammie moments or Cammie kicking ass moments or Cammie and her wonderful, beautiful friends moments or Abby/Townsend or Abby/Solomon moments or Ally, why are you such a cruel woman moments, or ohmygoshwhatisair moments to look forward to. And that just makes me a little bit sad.
